There are only two examples left of this popular electric locomotive, one at the large goods yard in Wolfurt near Bregenz and the other in service at a railway museum. From 1926 onwards, this locomotive pulled goods and passenger trains, mainly on the difficult Arlberg run. A similar engine was used very successfully on the Swiss alpine railway routes. At 22.4 m in length and weighing 116 tonnes, the locomotive had a power of 1,900 kW and reached speeds of up to 75 km/h.
